About

We are a group of Australian cyclists who, led by Paul van Bellen, will ride 500km in The Netherlands in May 2011. This cycling infrastructure study tour is a unique opportunity for us to gain the needed knowledge that, we hope, will help influence policy making in Australia. This website a unique space to share this knowledge not only in Australia, but around the world.

Soon, before we start the trip, 6 of us will introduce ourselves and the key issues we seek to explore, and during the tour, we will upload more pictures and videos and stories around innovative cycling solutions and think about how relevant they may be to Australia. We encourage you to participate in this discussion. Find our more about who we are and what we stand for in here.

All pages with information about the tour, its participants and supporters are in the drop-down menu options under “ABOUT“.

All blog entries by any of our bloggers can be searched in 5 different ways: (1) “HOMEshows the latest blog entries; (2) “INTERACTIVE MAP shows entries by location on the map; (3) the drop-down menu under “BLOGGERS allows you to follow your favourite blogger; (4) the drop-down menu under “TOPICS” organises all entries by topics such as Locals where you will find videos of people we meet along the way; (5) you can also use the SEARCH engine to look for tags such as “cargo bike” or names of people we have interviewed.

Enjoy and let us know if you have any suggestions to make the site better or easier to navigate.

Cheers,

Paulo
